These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Better Than Boxes website (betterthanboxes.co) and the plastic tote rental services provided by Grey Haven Holdings LLC ("Better Than Boxes," "we," "us," or "our"), based in New Jersey.
By accessing our website, submitting a booking, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. For questions, contact us at hello@betterthanboxes.co.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services or enter into a rental agreement. By booking with us, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Better Than Boxes provides short-term plastic tote rental services for residential moves in South Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia area, including Burlington County, Camden County, Gloucester County, and surrounding communities.

Services are subject to availability within our service area. We reserve the right to decline bookings outside our service area or beyond our current capacity.
Bookings are accepted through our website. A valid payment method is required to confirm any booking. Payment is collected at the time of booking through our payment processor, Square.
By submitting payment, you authorize Better Than Boxes to charge your selected payment method for the total amount displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely by Square. We do not store your payment card information.
The standard rental period is one week from the date of delivery or scheduled pickup. If you need additional time, contact us at hello@betterthanboxes.co at least 24 hours before your scheduled return pickup.
Extensions are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Totes not returned within the agreed rental period without a pre-arranged extension may be subject to a late fee of up to $10 per day.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate scheduling changes if notified at least 24 hours in advance. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, or access issues at the property.
You are responsible for the totes while they are in your possession. Please treat them with care — they're used by many families.
Our totes are heavy-duty 27-gallon plastic containers designed for repeated use. We deliver them cleaned and in good working condition. You are expected to return them in the same condition, minus normal wear and tear.

Customers are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing damaged, contaminated, or lost totes. Replacement cost per tote is up to $35. We will notify you of any damage charges before collecting payment.
Please do not use totes to transport hazardous materials, liquids without sealed containers, or items that may cause permanent damage.

To cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as possible at hello@betterthanboxes.co. Refunds are processed through Square and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
By providing your phone number to Better Than Boxes, you consent to receive booking-related SMS messages from us. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
We use SMS to send you information directly related to your booking, including:
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You may also email hello@betterthanboxes.co to be removed from SMS communications. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to use our service, but may limit our ability to reach you for time-sensitive delivery updates.
We do not use your phone number for unrelated marketing without your explicit consent.
By using our service, you agree to:
Better Than Boxes and Grey Haven Holdings LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to damage to personal property during loading or unloading, delays caused by circumstances outside our control, or loss of use due to scheduling changes.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your rental shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for items left in or on totes after the rental period, or for any damage to property at delivery or pickup addresses not directly caused by our negligence.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Better Than Boxes and Grey Haven Holdings LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or your negligence or willful misconduct.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
